  • Question, so I have a 2005 Nissan Altima, Does crank up but it takes a while.. it cranks at the 3rd time trying to turn the car on. What could the problem be? Recently changed a new battery so I doubt it’s the battery and spark plugs are new as well

  • The cam turns at half the crank speed. All you had to do was turn the crank one turn and the cam would be in the general area. It looked like the cam was out 2 or 3 teeth. Your spark plugs would have been wet also. You never turn the crank or the cam with the belt off. Also the engine turns counter clockwise. You turn the engine that direction to tension the cam belt. You wash the cylinder walls down doing all your tests. You only have to check one injector and one wire. The engine will cough if only one cylinder works.
